Support Seicento Baroque Ensemble
on National “Giving Tuesday”, December 1 or Sooner

Seicento Baroque Ensemble, as are other non-profit arts organizations across the country, is joining the "Giving Tuesday” campaign to raise donations for our organization.  As the only choral ensemble in this area specializing in historically-informed performances of music of the Baroque period, we believe our unique contribution preserves an important musical heritage and expands the musical repertoire available to the communities we serve.

Though we may be the newest and most specialized choral ensemble in the area, Seicento continues to experience noteworthy audience growth as we complete our first five years. Our  October performances of Monteverdi’s Vespers of 1610 received enthusiastic reviews and wonderful response from our audiences:

“Excellent virtuoso singing - delightful Baroque music”

“Superior musicality in every particular; period instruments; superb solo voices; impeccable diction”

“The sound is so rich. The chorus is excellent and the male soloists outstanding.  A rare opportunity”

“Magnificent piece of music impeccably sung”
