2017 SEASON

Dixit Dominus is a showpiece for both chorus and soloists, an extraordinary tour-de-force.

Experience the florid Italian side of  G.F. Handel, composer of the well-loved Messiah. Seicento presents two of Handel’s early showpieces, Dixit Dominus and Laudate pueri Dominum, written in Rome in 1707.  Soloists are Amanda Balestrieri, Kathryn Radakovitch, Todd Teske, and popular east-coast mezzo soprano Barbara Hollinshead.  Performed with period instrument orchestra.
